Has it occurred to you that perhaps the best way to avoid being blamed for things you do not feel you are guilty of is to cease inviting the blame?

I have never seen you offer a positive post towards the Catholics on Free Republic. The discourse you and I have is always civil and interesting, but it is private. In public it seems like you and all Catholics are like matter and anti-matter.

I’m all for free speech, but that comes with consequences. In this case the consequence is a distinct lack of appreciating for the inordinate amount of criticism and heckling towards Catholicism. What purpose does it serve?

Just once I would like to be able to enjoy a religion thread without the inevitable Quix vs the Catholic Church Title Bout starting up again.

How can I put this?

I don’t know the origin of the UFO references that keep cropping up, but I do seem to recall an argument about Marian apparitions being the product of extraterrestrials. I know it was not the Catholics that promoted that argument, and those references always seem directed at Quix and co. That leads me to believe that there is some connection.

Suffice to say, if there is some UFO factor in the form of Christianity Quix, or anyone else here, promotes... they have no place criticizing the particular strand of Christianity anyone else chooses to embrace.

And “go suck on your rosary binkies” is not pro-Word.

The word the LORD has given me and my entire congregation is that of separation.....There is not to be a mixing of the holy and the profane anymore. We must be 100% in the LORD's camp.

First of all, thanks for bringing this to my remembrance. Last year my friend told me their pastor told the congregation the very same thing, almost exactly what you said. I find that very interesting. So this is not only a reminder for me but a confirmation. Thank you.

That is certainly my goal and what my efforts are toward.

I have treated RC’s who treat me with civility with civility.

I learned very early on that merely my convictions about God and relating to God as well as the Word of God

brought brutally harsh personal assault from many RC’s. That was the case from my first week on FR.It did not matter how civil or gentle my tones or wording were.

Being an aversive stimulus to such assaults turned out to be the best I could do toward discouraging them.

It still is.

I *HAVE* said positive things about some facets of y’all’s group. They are immediately ignored, dissed, or dismissed.

I *HAVE* 3-5 times tried earnestly to work with RC’s to set up a way to have civility and mutually respectful dialogue from both sides. I did so over fierce skepticism, doubts and warnings from my own side.

EACH AND EVERY SUCH PROJECT RESULTED IN THE USUAL SHREDDING, THRASHING AND TRASHING BY THE *RC’S*!

From where I sit at this point, both in theology and behavior, ya’ll have only your mirrors to thank for what you get on FR.

I’m 99% done trying to be the peacemaker or civility model.

At least the stark vivid truth I post has a chance of registering and lodging in the memories of some lurkers to redemptive benefit.

A nasty core of RC’s on FR appear to be terminally lost causes.

My perspective is that the ET critters are fallen angels foisting the Biblical END TIMES SATANIC GREAT DECEPTION on the world and that the Vatican Cult is in the process of helping them.

Fatima turned out to be essentially a UFO facilitated FOSTERED DECEPTION. I discovered that after a lifetime of assuming it may well have been from God.

When ya’ll wail, scratch, whine, claw, spit, spew, etc. like 2 year old brats, sucking on your binky rosaries is indeed the most fitting thing I can suggest.

Y’all don’t like such images, quit acting & sounding like that!

I did. Quite a lot, actually—

3-4 times or more over as many days.

Some RC’s seem to only notice or pay attention to things in their tonal/emotional language.
