With me.. every day is the Sabbath.. I treat every day as Holy.. and special..
If you choose to limit your reverence, well I suppose God allows that..

WHY?... Probably because some want some days for fleshly pursuits..
You know.. some days so they can satisfy their lusts..

Different strokes for different folks I suppose..
Is GOD cool or what?.. Allows days for lusting..
NOW theres a real God I tell ya.. he knows some are weaklings..

I must give you credit, for coming up with a new anti-sabbatical argument. This is an interesting perspective and the most judgemental of them all I’ve ever heard, but admitedly the most creative.

Question: Did God need the rest or humanity?

I think the argument that every day is holy, should also be applied to NOT making false arguments about scripture on any day of the week. I would agree with you on this.

God doesn't allow it, He requires it. Six days shalt thou labor but on the seventh day ye are to rest and keep it holy. Saying one is keeping all of them holy is treating them all the same. That is not what God commanded. Sure, you are supposed to be good all days of the week, but God wants us to set ONE day aside to worship Him. The day he designated, not the one you pick or your church picks or what the whole world picks. "If you love Me, keep My commandments".
