Ephesians 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

It’s not the Church that started the “saved by grace” idea.

So, if you don't care what the Church teaches -- do you believe we are saved by God's grace or not?

So, if you don't care what the Church teaches -- do you believe we are saved by God's grace or not?

If you DO believe that we are saved by God's grace, then you do "care" what the Church teaches because you believe the same
