21 facts everyone should know about Mormon teaching [Mormonism/Anti-Christian]
Christian Faith ^ | Anonymous

Here are 21 facts everyone should know about Mormon teaching

Mormonism is not a Christian Faith by no means - don't be deceived.

21 Amazing facts about  Mormon teaching:

1.  Mormon's teach that they can become gods and goddesses.

2.  Mormon goddesses will spend eternity in full submission to their god-husband.

3.  Mormon's teach that women will give birth “forever and ever” to spirit-babies.

4.  Mormon's teach men can have multiple wives in heaven—eternalpolygamy. They intend to have many wives in heaven, carrying on multiple sex relations throughout eternity, until they have enough children to populate their own earth, so they can be "Heavenly Father" over their own planet!

5.  Heavenly Father is an exalted man who lives with his goddess wife,Heavenly Mother, on a planet near the great star Kolob.

6.  American Indians are descendants of the wicked Lamanites, who were Israelites that God cursed with dark skin.

7.  God the Father had sex with Mary to conceive Jesus. They say Virgin Mary really wasn't a virgin at all but had sex relations with their heavenly father to produce the Mormon version of Jesus Christ

8.  Mormon's teach that there is only salvation through the Mormons and all other Christian churches are wrong and Mormons also do baptisms for their dead.

9.  Mormons teach that they need 4 secret handshakes to get into the Celestial heaven.

10.  Joseph Smith revealed that the actual Garden of Eden is in Jackson County, Missouri.

11.  Joseph Smith says that he saw God and Jesus both, when they appeared to him.

12. Mormons believe that Lucifer and Jesus are brothers.

13.  Mormons believe the angel Gabriel came down to earth and became Noah in the days of the flood.

14.  Mormons consider the Bible to be untrustworthy and full of errors.

15.  Mormons believe the Archangel Michael came down to earth with several of his celestial wives, and became Adam in the garden of Eden.

16.  The Mormon founder and their Prophet Joseph Smith prophesied falsely many times. For example, he foretold the second coming of Christ for 1891. The Bible teaches that one false prophecy puts the prophet under death sentence. (Deuteronomy 18:20-22).

17.  Mormons doctrine taught and believed that before 1978 they considered the Negro race inferior, and even one drop of Negro blood prevented a person from entering their priesthood.  Now they will allow men of African decent to be priests but the fact that they once taught this proves they're a False Religion.

18.  Mormons have books other than the Bible that they call scriptures such as the Book of Mormon, Pearl of Great Price, Doctrine and Covenants.  All these and even their official "Mormon Doctrine" statements contradict each other on MAJOR doctrinal points. The King James Bible is also contradicted by these books.

19.  Mormons believe Jesus had at least three wives and children while he was on this earth.

20. Joesph Smith taught that there were inhabitants on the moon, and Brigham Young taught there were inhabitants on the sun as well!  The fact that these two men once taught this proves they were not real Prophets of God.  They were false prophets and this religion is leading many souls to Hell still today.

21.  Mormons also teach that there is no salvation without Joseph Smith.  They teach that Joseph Smith holds the keys to the Kingdom of God. They teach that Jesus' death on the cross only partially saves the believer.  They also teach that people will stand before God, Jesus and Joseph Smith on Judgement Day.

Listen to a former Mormon Lady that goes to Hell and was warned by Jesus to leave the Mormon religion or she will end up in Hell forever.  Click Here  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwFruS4rpdI

People, the Mormon religion is truly a cult.  This is not a Church or an Christian religion but rather it is a tool that Satan uses to deceive people into believing lies.  If you know someone that regularly has Mormons in their home or visits their temples, you must warn them because this is a demonic trap.  You cannot sit under these lies and not be polluted in some way.  No matter what Mormons may say, just remember that the Mormons don't believe that the Holy Bible is 100% true.  Mormons have their own books and doctrines that they believe are more accurate than the Holy Bible.  This Truth alone makes them a cult!

The Mormon religion is not from God, it is the doctrine of devils.  Mormonism looks Christian and they do mention Jesus a little but it is no where near being a Christian Faith.  The Mormon religion is a cult because it is devoted to the works, theories, and teachings that are all lies, from a man named Joseph Smith.  A lying spirit founded this religion and lying spirits keep spreading it today.  These lying spirits can deceive the simple and corrupt the faithful if you allow them continually fill your heart and mind with these lies.  These people dress themselves up in white shirts and ties, then come into the homes of unsuspecting people and lead them astray.  Just as Satan led Eve astray in the Garden of Eden.

The Mormons, also called LDS, use a very subtle and crafty tactic of deception.  They are not going to tell you what they really teach at first because Mormonism is a secret deception.  They will cleverly use the name of Jesus to get in your home and to gain your trust but they won't tell you up front that they don't believe the Bible is fully accurate and that they have other books they believe are more accurate than the Holy Bible.  They won't tell you up front all of the other falsehoods they teach and by teaching these false doctrines they are denying the Lord Jesus Christ.  To deny the Word of God, the Bible, is to deny Jesus!

You may agree that there are a lot of well meaning, naive and gullible people that have been led astray by these types of false doctrine.  That is why those who have a skillful knowledge of the Word of God should warn and instruct those who do not.  Warn them and be firm because this is not a play thing, their soul salvation is at stake.  Philippians 2:12 tell us to..."work out your own salvation with fear and trembling".

Read below if you would like more scriptures that are from the Holy Bible that can help you learn and share with others what the Word of God says about these false doctrines.

2 Peter 2:1 But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.

Mormons’ theology is based on First Century Christianity, not Fourth Century Creeds. For example, the Church of Jesus Christ (LDS) views on Baptism, Lay Ministry, the Trinity, Theosis, Grace vs. Works, the Divinity of Jesus Christ comport more closely with Early Christianity than any other denomination. It’s a little like calling the settler’s corn seed polluted, when large agribusiness is selling Genetically Modified corn and and the companies insisting that the settler’s corn is not “corn”. And Mormons’ teenagers have been judged to “top the charts” in Christian Characteristics by a UNC-Chapel Hill study. Read about it here:

http://MormonsAreChristian.blogspot.com

Those who would denigrate the Mormon religion, usually are mis-informed.

Mormons have a better understanding of Christianity than any other denomination, according to a 2010 Pew Forum poll:

http://www.pewforum.org/Other-Beliefs-and-Practices/U-S-Religious-Knowledge-Survey.aspx

11 of the signers of the Declaration of Independence were non-Trinitarian Christians. Those who insist on their narrow definition of Christianity are doing our Republic an injustice.

The #1 reason Romney will never get my vote… he is a Mormon.

Well, you've just joined the rest of us "bigots" and "haters" who will never vote for a cultist.

It’s when nuts start saying their sect is the only true sect when the trouble starts.

Be troubled then because that's exactly what they say.

If you aren't a member of their cult. you are apostate - according to their founding "prophet".

“Mormons’ theology is based on First Century Christianity, “

FALSE

It is a combination of most heresies the church condemned, masonic rituals, and fictional statements - like the Mormon claim that American Indians are Jewish!

Or that gods breed in eternity to populate planets.

Well, we see Bot repeating this same word-for-word autobotic Mormon post...kind of like another Mormon autobot we know...

(Makes ya wonder if we've been infested by alien Kolob Bot e-patrol...)

From a Kolobian 'Bot' take of our world: Mormons have a better understanding of Christianity than any other denomination, according to a 2010 Pew Forum poll

Michael Medved read at least a couple of the Pew Forum survey questions on his radio show in late September.

The very first question he read was a multiple choice Q as to where Jesus was born...the choices included Jerusalem, Nazareth, Bethlehem, and Jericho.

Now, the Book of Mormon prophesied that Jesus would be born in Jerusalem (Alma 7:10). What's interesting about the survey is that a higher % of Mormons got this question right than the other groups.

What does that mean?
(1) It means Mormons openly disregarded the Book of Mormon and took the New Testament answer (Bethlehem) as legit. Why?
(2) It means that the standard Mormon apologetic answer -- when people point out the BoM claim about Jerusalem -- doesn't apply. I mean, basically, Mormon apologists try claiming that when the BoM says "Jerusalem," it's somehow close enough.

Well, if that was the case -- if 83% of Mormons chose Bethlehem -- and say another 16% chose Jerusalem -- by Mormon apologetic standards, the Pew Forum should have just said "close enough" -- and that 99% of Mormons got the question right by answering either Jerusalem or Bethlehem.

So are the Mormon apologists going to be consistent? Are they going to get on the Pew Forum survey testers' case for claiming that whoever answered "Jerusalem" in that survey's question was wrong?

Or is it yet more inconsistency from the Mormon apologists?

Beyond that, on questions about the book of Genesis & where Jesus was born, white Evangelicals scored the same as Lds...and only 2 % pts behind Lds on naming the 4 gospels, which is neglible.

Where white Evangelicals (between 1-in-8 and 1-in-4 more) tended to "flunk" was key characters in the Old Testament.

One in four more Evangelicals failed by faultily identifying the Golden Rule as a commandment. That was at least more understandable, given verses where Jesus would say: A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. (John 13:34)

Overall of the dozen questions about the Bible, the avg. score distinction between Lds & Evangelicals was only half a question. And given that Lds study basic Bible tidbits, & tend to twist the key parts of the Bible into unrecognizable pretzels, no big surprise.

"Mormons’ theology is based on First Century Christianity..."

So where did Jesus get sealed [married] and take out His endowments? How would Jesus know to make the "sure sign of the nail" during His endowment if He had yet to be crucified?

Why is there no reference at all in the "1st century" to the teaching that polygamy is "essential for salvation"?

Orson Pratt - Jesus a polygamist, God the Father had a plurality of wives. "We have also proved that both God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ inherit their wives in eternity as well as in time." The Seer, p. 172 (1853)

Now, would any mormon care to address this blasphemy? Where in the Bible or the BoM, D&C, or the PoGP can this 1st century "doctrine" be found?

Is this supposed to be "1st century Christianity"? Really?

"Those who would denigrate the Mormon religion, usually are mis-informed."

I bet all the ex-mormons will disagree with that false assertion built upon a false premise.I lived it, taught it and was a purveyor of this and the “other” mormon lies for years. I repent for what I did as a mormon in leading and keeping people away from God.

Your own “prophets” and “apostles” issued the challenges. Dared any to challenge them on doctrine. Why then, aren’t the mormons of today accepting those challenges? Are the words of their “prophets” to be ignored?

Joseph Smith - "Wherefore, confound your enemies; call upon them to meet you both in public and in private" Doctrine and Covenants 71:7 (1831)

• Orson Pratt - "convince us of our errors of doctrine, if we have any, by reason, by logical arguments, or by the word of God, and we will be ever grateful for the information" The Seer, p. 15 (1854)

• George A. Smith - "If a faith will not bear to be investigated; if its preachers and professors are afraid to have it examined, their foundation must be very weak." Journal of Discourses, vol. 14, p. 216 (1871)

• Brigham Young - "I have had many revelations; I have seen and heard for myself, and know these things are true, and nobody on earth can disprove them. ... I say to the whole world, receive the truth, no matter who presents it to you. Take up the Bible, compare the religion of the Latter-day Saints with it, and see if it will stand the test." Journal of Discourses, vol. 16, p. 46 (1873)

• Brigham Young - "I am here to give this people, called Latter-day Saints, counsel to direct them in the path of life. ... If there is an Elder here, or any member of this Church, called the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, who can bring up the first idea, the first sentence that I have delivered to the people as counsel that is wrong, I really wish they would do it; but they cannot do it, for the simple reason that I have never given counsel that is wrong; this is the reason." Journal of Discourses, vol. 16, p. 161 (1873)

• Wilford Woodruff - "I am willing to exchange all the errors and false notions I have for one truth, and should consider that I had made a good bargain. We are not afraid of light and truth. Our religion embraces every truth in heaven, earth or hell; it embraces all truth" Journal of Discourses, vol. 18, p. 117 (1875)

"Mormons have a better understanding of Christianity than any other denomination, according to a 2010 Pew Forum poll:"

Uhm, no. It wasn't "just" about Christianity, it was about religion and contained numerous questions regarding mormonism, hinduism, mythology and other religions.

-----------------------------

For God so loved the World that He gave His only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16).

That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9)

Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? (John 6:28)

Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. (John 6:29)

For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.” (John 6:40)

I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life. (John 6:47)

What interests me is the garbage that has been showing up on FR lately. I am concerned that the there seems to be more and more religious bigotry and sniping on FR...this narrow minded crap only makes it more difficult to get other people to come to our site...

IOW, some posts and or threads didn't pass the Prokopton Kommittee on Proper Posted Propaganda, eh? Well, Komrade, Velcome to Free Republic!

And as for your name-calling geared toward what some FREEPERS write..."garbage"..."crap"...do you always go around accusing FREEPERS of dealing in gutters & sewers?

Tell us ALL: Why are you so intolerant and -- to use one of your own phrases -- "narrow-minded" toward what some FREEPERS write? Let's see what does that word mean you used..."bigotry"...doesn't that mean "intolerance?"

Wanna tell us where you bought your license for being intolerant toward others? Aren't you guilty of the very same thing you accuse others of?

If you're such a model of "tolerance," wow! (I didn't see it on your posts here) Why not?

Here's another example: You accuse unknown FREEPERS as being guilty of "sniping." Now aren't you guilty of "sniping," too? Is that "license" only issued for you?

Or, are you just going to tell us that since you weren't sniper-firing on any specific FREEPER, you were only generically "shotgunning" MANY unknown FREEPERS?

And if new posters think that their "free" posts are going to be "shotgunned" and labeled as "garbage" and "crap" by the likes of posters like yourself, tell us something: Do you think that encourages people to post their opinions, or does it tend to just shut them down?

The other thing is you're starting to confuse us: I mean, we don't know where to believe your liberal personal standards of "tolerance" -- your preaching on them, that is -- or your behavior...what you generically label unknown FREEPERS?

Don’t you have something better to do with your time? [Prokopton's post #14]

Good question: "Don't you," Prokopton, "have something better to do with your time?" than to accuse people's keyboards of being part of a sewer system?

I don’t see how knowing these “facts” will make me a better person or, for that matter, a BETTER Christian. [Post #14]

Well, let's break that comment down. You're addressing it to Delacoert, who's just addressed Mormons. So, in context, you are now claiming that Mormons = "Christians."

Was that your implication? Sure seems like it was; but please clarify if it wasn't.

IF it was...
...may I recommend you see “We're Christians just like you!”

There's Bill McKeever lists a lot of essential beliefs of Mormons. And, if, say, you're a self-professed Christian - and Mormons are, too...then that must mean you believe a LOT (not all) of the same things Mormons do!

[Hey, if Mormons = Christians, hey, with advocates abroad like yourself, no wonder people slide down a religious Bahai-like pathway where they run everything together about God and begin to conclude a fundamentalist Mormon-is-a-Mormon-is-a-Christian-is-a-Jonestownite-is-a-Branch-Davidian-is-a-Heavens-Gate-ian-is-a-Urantia believer-is a Church Universal & Triumphant-is-a-Wicca-Witch-is-Voodoo practioner-is-a-New-Ager-is-a-whirling dervish-is-a-Hindu-is-a-Sikh-is-a-Muslim! (I just don't want to hear you ever complain when somebody "confuses" a fundamentalist polygamist Mormon with a mainstream Mormon...to be consistent, ya know.) “

The Invasion of the Row of Bot posters!

(Kolobian aliens on the loose)

Could it be that Kolobians just haven't gotten around to conducting an accurate sociological study of some "sample" of our land...say...oh, I don't know...just to pick a state at random...Utah...where 60% are of the migrated-from-Kolob-to-the-U.S...

Mormons’ teenagers have been judged to “top the charts” in Christian Characteristics by a UNC-Chapel Hill study. [Bot patrol automated generated post...see "his" posting track record]

Well if you go to this post I did almost three months ago, you can see all the original sources for what is below: Sociology of Utah

I provided links to first two headlines below...plus several others [wherever you see "source headline"]:
* Two Studies Find Depression Widespread in Utah
* Utah leads the nation in rates of depression
* And referenced where Utah has the most anti-depressant use, especially in women: Study Finds Utah Leads Nation in Antidepressant Use. Some point to the pressures of Mormonism, especially for women, to explain the surprising findings. [Source urls: http://www.usu.edu/psycho101/lectures/chp2methods/study.html http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2002/06/03/eveningnews/main510918.shtml ]

Other related depression and suicide Utah anecdotes:
* ”Utah, which a 2007 report said had the country's highest rate of nonmedical painkiller abuse.” Source headline: Utah has new prescription for painkiller problem [Original link...click on first link above for linkage to actual article]
* Utah leads the nation in suicides among men aged 15 to 24: As of 5 years ago: Utah leads the nation in suicides among men aged 15 to 24...Utah also has the 11th highest suicide rate — 14.3 deaths per 100,000 people — in the nation over all age groups, according to the most recent data from the American Association of Suicidology.” Source headline: Deadly taboo: Youth suicide an epidemic that many in Utah prefer to ignore [Original link -- click on first link above for linkage to actual article]
*Utah has the country's highest suicide rate for males between the ages of 14 and 25. That grim statistic is given a name and a troubled family in Carol Lynn Pearson's impassioned ‘Facing East,’ now at the International City Theatre in Long Beach. Source url: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2285528/posts
* ”For more than 10 years, 15- to 34-year-old males in Utah have had suicide rates markedly higher than those seen nationally. In fact, in the early to mid-1990s, suicide was the number one cause of death among 25- to 44-year-old men in the state and the second-leading cause of death among men aged 15 to 24. Source url: http://www.adherents.com/largecom/lds_LowSuicideRate.html

Now, this article actually says being active Lds "helps" in comparing rates. But this and another study I saw actually says when you compare the suicide rates for active Lds, inactive or less-active Lds, and non-Lds, the middle category is by far the highest:

In addition, per this article –the risk of suicide among males aged 15 to 19 was three times higher among the less active church members than among their active peers, but the rate among the active youth was comparable to the national suicide rate.

So...this article not only says suicide risk is 3x higher among less active Lds than active Lds (among 15-19 yo), but that the suicide rate for active Lds 15-19 yo is no different than the national suicide rate!!!

My point: Mormonism is no barrier to the suicide rate for teens, and in fact, jeopardizes more teens (the less active ones)!

What else about Utah is distinctive sociologically?

Utah's sexual violence: broader Utah, of which 60% are Lds.
Sexual misconduct pervasive problem among teachers (KSL.com, Oct. 25, 2009)

Quote from this KSL article: SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- State education officials say sexual misconduct by teachers is the No. 1 reason Utah educators are forced to surrender their licenses. Records shows Utah has nearly 20,000 licensed educators. Since 1992, the State Board of Education has suspended or revoked 313 teacher licenses -- 208 of them for sexual misconduct. That number excludes 10 cases still being investigated by the Utah Professional Practices Advisory Commission. The behaviors range from inappropriate touching and downloading pornography on a school computer to full-blown molestation...In 2005, a survey by The Associated Press ranked Utah 16th in the nation for teacher sex offenses based on disciplinary records from 2001 to 2005 in 50 states and the District of Columbia. At that time, 52.7 percent of Utah teachers who lost their licenses surrendered them for sexual misconduct -- twice the national rate, the AP found.
Sexual misconduct persistent in Utah schools (Oct. 25, 2009)
Utah's sexual assault rate outpaces U.S. average (April 6, 2010)

Utah Sexual assault realities:

* Less than a month ago, KSL reported that there's a reported rape in Utah less than 9.5 hours apart (see http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=148&sid=14136899)-- that's up just from 2008 when it was just under a rape per 10 hours...http://publicsafety.utah.gov/bci/documents/CIU%202008%20book%200810.pdf, p. 6

* Per the Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification (see also Utah Department of Health), the 2008 Utah rape rate was 63.7 per 100,000 females vs. U.S. average of 57.4. For entire crime report, see: http://publicsafety.utah.gov/bci/documents/CIU%202008%20book%200810.pdf

* BTW, 2008 wasn't some “new surge”: Since 1991, Utah’s rape rate has consistently inched higher than the national rate. By 2002, Utah ranked 14th in the nation for rapes. [Source url: http://deseretnews.com/dn/view/0,1249,600125585,00.html] -- and inched to 13th by 2004...http://www.utahfoundation.org/reports/?page_id=290)

* Why has Utah as of the years since 2000, consistently has ranked between 13 & 18 re: rape rate?

* Why as of 4 years ago, was Utah #8 in the nation for its sex offender rate per Nation Master.com?

Of course, we could take the approach that...
...Surely 60% of the population that is "nice and friendly" would actually ensure that 40% of the population would not place them in the upper rankings for rape & sex abuse, right?...
...And therefore NONE of this has anything to do with any specific Utah environmental factors, right?...
...Hence, let's just sweep this all under the image rug, shall we?...
...After all, it doesn't make for good religious PR or marketing, does it?...

Domestic violence:
The U.S. Department of Justice reported (Fall 2001) ”that national domestic violence rates decreased 41 percent since 1993. But Utah officials reported a 31 percent increase in state domestic violence between 1997 and 2000. With those climbing numbers, Utah in 2001 had the second highest domestic violence rate in the nation.” Source url: http://byumedia.com/story.cfm/34616

Utah's White-Collar crime reputation: (The second note below shows this problem is endemic & specific to the Mormon church):
* ”Frustrated by the wave of fraud that by one estimate took $750 million out of Utahns' pocketbooks last year, regulators, law enforcement officials and attorneys are organizing a free 'Fraud College' next month in Utah County for the public to call attention to the problem and to try to combat it.” Source headline: Preying on the faithful: Though Mormons often victims, LDS Church skips fraud-prevention event [Click on first link above for linkage to actual article]
* Lds members have fleeced over $1.4 billion from fellow Mormons the past few years alone! Guess what? They initially didn't regret "doing business" with them, either!!! Source headline: Mormons Now Losing Billions to Affinity Fraud [Click on first link above for linkage to actual article]
* This isn't new...Utah has long been host to the most per-capita fraud in America: Salt Lake City, with a mere 170,000 residents, is by far the country’s smallest city where the scam-fighting U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission has an office. It has been there since the early 1950s. Why? “There is a lot of fraud here per capita,” says local SEC boss Kenneth Israel. “There doesn’t seem to be any shortage of work for us.” [Source url: http://www.lds-mormon.com/6303056a.shtml ]
* Utah was #1 in mortgage fraud in America by 2001 when the FBI listed Utah as No. 1 in the country for the amount of mortgage fraud cases reported. [Source url: http://deseretnews.com/dn/view/0,1249,600151169,00.html ]

Listen to a former Mormon Lady that goes to Hell and was warned by Jesus to leave the Mormon religion or she will end up in Hell forever. Click Here

This testimony is by Mrs. Trimble, a former Mormon from Dallas, Texas.

She says she was part of the "one of the world's largest cults."

She said she died in a hospital room -- her spirit rising above her body. (She later found out she was "dead" for eight minutes)

She says on this less-than-eight minute interview that she was sucked down into a black dark, enflamed place of heat where she "felt smothered." She heard people screaming, "Why I am here?"

She says her spirit was then whisked back into her body. But since she had been inadvertently given a morphine shot by a nurse, the effects of that continued overnight in her hospital bed.

She said she would have temporary back-and-forth throes of death...where her spirit would go back & forth from her body to the deepest pits of hell...where she saw seemingly "millions" of spirits in a place of "agony & torment."

She said she saw a pinpoint of light -- a friend -- a Mormon who died the previous Christmas. This Mormon told her, "Don't make the same mistake I did."

At that point, Mrs. Trimble said she shot up toward a bright light which became a "bright gold burning cross." [That, too, is NOT part of a primary worldview of a typical Mormon; many Lds consider the cross a "pagan" symbol and they stress Jesus atoned for us in the GARDEN by sweating blood]

She then heard a voice, which she identified with the true Jesus, which told her: "Seek Jesus Christ and the cross. Leave the Mormon church or the hell you've left will be your eternity."

At that point, she asked for forgiveness -- and her life was changed forever.

No church saves, despite the Mormon church telling you that the Lds church "is the way" (Marion G. Romney, 1961 Conference message).

Only Jesus SAVES!!!

Um, no...

It is based on early heresies, but little else.

Early Christianity also was not involved in fantasies about non existent cultures, multiple Gods from other worlds etc. The latter is more Roman myth based...

As few as your poll, been covered here, sorry you missed it. First rule of sales and a sales force in what the LDS is) know the competition...

Are you Mormon?

If I don’t like what someone else is saying/doing I give a shot at illuminating. If there’s no one there willing to listen I move on.

What a coincidence!

Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are separate beings

Wrong.

Deuteronomy 6:4
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.

Deuteronomy 32:39
“See now that I myself am he! There is no god besides me

1 Samuel 2:2
“There is no one holy like the LORD; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.

Mark 12:29
“The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.

Romans 3:30
there is only one God

Ephesians 4:6
one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

John 14:9
Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

Clearly God is one.

No you sir are doing Jesus a disservice by spouting your blasphemy.
There is nothing that lds do or teach that is anywhere near Christianity.
God tore the curtain from top to bottom to destroy the temples.
We are free from secrets, free from trappings we are free because of the Cross.

What do you have to say regarding Smith's prophesies and predicions that failed to come to pass? Could you please answer this? If you do not, then I must assume that you are not answering because you cannot.

Can a prophet who has made prophecies that do not come to pass (such as Smith's prediction that the God would return in 1891) be of the Lord?

How can the Lord speak falsely?

I look forward to your answer.
