Silence is not a weakness, but a strength.
There are battles, and there are wars. Christ lost the battle on Good Friday, but won the war for us on Easter Sunday.
Remember the silence of our Lord in the face of his accusers. Recall that those who welcomed Jesus to Jerusalem, waving palms and olive branches, were shouting crucify him only five days later. It is not easy to apply Christs command to: Love your enemies. Do good to those who persecute you.
