I had a ruptured appendix many moons ago and it took some time to recover. After the x-ray I witnessed an Angel near me at my side, immediate surgery was ordered. I recovered and will not talk about it.

I also had a ruptured appendix. I just thought I had the flu since all my kids had just experienced the flu. When I stopped at the doctor’s office after dropping off two children and with two others in tow, the doctor said — “You are going to the hospital.” I nearly jumped off the table when he touched my abdomen in a certain place. But of course, the denial in me said, “I can’t, I’ve got kids with me.”

He responded, “We’ll call your husband for the kids, the ambulance is here for you.”

Actually I can. This Angel was at the foot of my “cart”. I asked my brother if he could see her. He said no.

And I remember nothing more until I woke up and started walking around. Oh, what pain, worse than childbirth since all my insides had been handled and wiped clean.

I was taking pictures of the flowers at the funeral home where my dad was. When we got them developed, my daughter showed us the angel in the picture. He was standing near the casket. Very odd.

You will not or was a request made that you don’t talk about it? Just a rhetorical question.

You won’t discuss it even to the benefit of others?

I periodically tell people about what happened to my son. He would have been between 2 and 3, I was out walking on a school track with a couple of women from my church. We watched him moved out of the way of a shot put that a student had thrown over his shoulder, not realizing we were walking right behind him.

All three of the adults saw something different. I saw the shot put heading toward my son’s chest, my son being lifted straight up in the air and back about three feet. One of the other women saw the shot put fall straight down in front of my son. But none of us doubted we saw a miracle.
