My reading puts Armageddon at the end of the 7 year Great Tribulation.
The one at the end of the Millenial reign is not mentioned much at all and only extremely vaguely.
EXCELLENT POINTS.
WELL PUT.
And please add “Closer to the Light” and “Transformed by the Light” by Dr. Melvin Morse. These are wonderful books about near death experiences. He interviewed children that had near death experiences.
PRAISE GOD!
CONGRATULATIONS!
the other one by him is Transformed by the light. I have read them both. My boss and a good friend had near death experiences and they were exactly as explained in the book. I am a believer.
“Also, concerning this story, it convinces me that all the babies murdered every year are in Heaven.”
In the “Left Behind” book, one of the most memorable parts was pregnant women becoming “un-pregnant” the second after the rapture occurred. They left it out of the movie, but it was covered in the book.
The Bible has sold a lot of copies too.
I heard him speak at a local Baptist church. Very good.
There are youtube videos of some of his presentations at churches.
“a few weeks back, one guy had a “dark” near death experience.”
Our minister in California discussed this issue a few years ago. Apparently, there are many events where people spent those moments in a Hell-like place and return to make changes in their lives. Basically, it “scared the Hell out of ‘em”.
“Everyone has a guadian angel. We just dont see them.”
Some people have guardian Demons.
This little boy saw and spoke to members of his family in Heaven whom no one had ever told him existed, and saw Jesus, among other things.
It's a good book, and gives a tiny glimpse into what is awaiting us!
Revelations mentions that the nations are deceived by Satan and number of the people that rise in defiance of Christ and those of his saints were as the grains of sand in the sea. At that point, God the Father inserts himself into our universe and the heavens and earth simply “flee away”. Melted with fervent heat(literally dissolved) as one passage states in the NT. The last fight is not allowed to be a “last battle”, the Last Great white throne judgment occurs instead.
The OT has many passages about what life will be like on earth under the reign of Christ, yet in the end despite all the blessings, people will still be tempted through the one point in their natures ultimately separates us from God...our prideful desire to be our own God!
THX MUCH.
WELL PUT.
EVERY single credible Biblically congruent narrative of such an experience that touches on babies at all mentions that ALL the aborted babies are in Heaven.
Which is an interesting issue . . . some of them would likely not have made Heaven had they lived say to teen years even.
PRAISE GOD FOR HIS FAITHFULNESS.
GIVES YOU SHIVERS.. post
thanks. Will get & read book.
Yep. It’s been five years. It had metastasized to the liver. I was distraught.
God used the surgeon to heal me. Now it’s almost like it never even happened.
I praise Him for it.
AMEN! AMEN! YEA GOD!
Lets review it together...there are two judgements listed in Revelation 20, the first is the judgment of all those living on the Earth after Armegeddon....that is what the passage in Matthew speaks of. The resurrection of the unsaved and all those who are alive at that time to face the Final Judgment judgment comes at the end of the 1000 years. Pay attention to verse 9 and Pay attention to verse 12. “.....stand before God”. God the father is conducting affairs directly in the final judgment though Christ I’m sure remains in direct partnership, as he always has.
“Rev 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
7And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
