“Less well understood, however, is the fact that God is an exalted man who once lived on an earth and underwent experiences of mortality”

What the hell is this garbage?

It means that God the Father came to Mary in the flesh and got it on with her. (Bow-Chicka-Bow-Wow!)

(Oh, that whole virgin thing? Irrelevant, because she hadn't gotten it on with any mortal, you see.)

And some people wonder why Christians think Mormon leaders are blasphemous.

You will find that most LDS know nothing of these doctrines. I have asked regular members about them many times, and not once did they know what I was talking about. Sure they are part of LDS Doctrine, but I suspect they are rarely, if ever, taught in church. It is the social aspects of the LDS faith that draws and keeps people.

Well teppe, as usual you have your facts 180 degrees from the truth. You state:

. . . . because you abdicated and let your Pastor pick and choose what “He/She” thinks that God wants you to know?

Of course, you follow the 'prophet' (while they follow the profit) and when they speak the thinking is done. Doesn't matter that their 'god' can't make up his/her mind whether or not they are adam, or that all their so called prophecies have failed epically (failed prophecy = false prophet)

  1. The FR source field contains the correct source information.
  2. The article title IS correct as can be seen from the posted page and from this additional page.
  3. Quoting the first paragraph from those pages:
The following article is four pages (129-132) out of the official Mormon Church manual Achieving a Celestial Marriage Student Manual. These four pages give an excellent explanation of the world view of Mormonism and the central theme of the importance of Mormon temples within Mormon theology. We quote this information to show the clearly non-Christian nature of Mormonism. This article is copied without commentary and is allowable under the “Fair Use” clause of the copy write code. We invite the reader to examine the original document for context and accuracy.
  4. It's evident from the content of this thread that discovery of the sourcing easily discernible.

So pardon me, but your quibble is "much adieu about nothing."
