Do read the entire verse which goes
31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” 32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house. 33 At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his household were baptized

Key point -- he had to believe that Jesus Christ was Lord and God and Savior and had to be baptised in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. THAT is the basis of faith and the basic definition of a Christian

You just don’t get it do you. It wasn’t the baptizing that saved the jailor. The baptizing was an outward sign that he had been saved. Next you will tell me that he had to belong to the RCC and buy forgiveness and say 20 hail Marys and that Mary was just as sinless and Jesus.
