Does that Free Speech not apply to dissenting opinions?

Considering that the Great State of Ohio currently has a death penalty on the books, it would seem that the Bishops are offering a dissenting opinion. You seem to have a problem with them expressing it. I defend their right to dissent. Explain yourself.
