Good sales people call on the phone at dinner and come to your door at dinner, it is when you are most likely to be home. “Sales” being the optimum word here.

You actually think they wait down at the end of your street and then knock at your when they smell your dinner cooking?
Don’t be so paranoid. Be happy that they’re not out doing home invasions or selling drugs to schoolkids. They’re not going to hurt you.
