I’m amazed to learn what others in the “info loop” must thave long known, that Fr. Euteneuer was flying hither and thither doing exorcisms solo, like some sort of Belial-busting Paladin. Exorcists are supposed to work under a bishop, never alone, because of the overwhelming spiritual dangers. Just the fact that he was doing this should have made the red warning light start flashing on his bishop’s oversight-o-meter.
Plus there’s supposed to be a witness. If he’d have followed the requirements, he’d be fine. He didn’t and bears the consequences.
Rules are there for a reason, because Euteneuer is not the first to run into why they are there.
Thanks for the ping, Mrs. Don-O, and I agree with you!
