....When asked the question "What must I do to be saved?", the response of Paul and Silas was "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31), and that is still true today. What is important is to put your full trust in Jesus. If you have done that, if you have repented of your sin and trust in Jesus alone, you are welcomed into the fellowship of the OPC. There is no need to be re-baptized and there is no need to renounce your confirmation.

What does a Roman Catholic need to do to join the OPC

Given that there are only 20,000 OPC communicants in America, presumably all you need to do is show up on Sunday and introduce yourself to the elders.

I'm sure they'd love to have you.

Another good bet is to move to the Northeast if you don't live there already - that's the area of the country where you have the best shot of living within driving distance of a congregation.

Yeah. I had a stint where as a Catholic I joined the Presbyterians. I left when the gay and lesbian minister and assistant started changing the Word of the Bible at Church services to fit into their PC gender world view. Then the preaching about global warming and let's just say it didn't take me long to go back to the Catholic faith and the Catholic Church. Thank you Jesus!

Besides. Whenever I prayed about where God would best have me he gave me a MULTITUDE of signs that He wanted me to worship in the Catholic tradition and faith, not to speak of the church. Thank you Lord for your guidance!

Exactly. It wasn't until I was out of the RCC - did I learn how truly off they were. To say anyone is being obedient to Jesus while 'in' the RCC, is untrue. One can't serve two masters.

When Coptic Christians are being killed for believing in Christ I find it sad that there is such a 'marketing,' for which faith today. It is fine. When one Christian is killed or in fear because of their faith, we are all under threat of the same. I pray today and have been for some time for the Christians in Egypt. My energy is toward prayers for them and for ALL Christians world wide.

God bless, inspire, and guide us all. May we unite in the spreading of His Word not matter what our chosen church.

Neither are we schismatics. We cordially recognize as members of Christ's visible Church on earth, all those who profess the true religion together with their children. We are not only willing but earnest to hold Christian communion with them, provided they do not require, as conditions of such communion, that we profess doctrines which the Word of God condemns, or that we should do what the Word forbids. If in any case any Church prescribes such unscriptural terms of fellowship, the error and the fault is with that church and not with us.
