And then I guess the book, the Graduale, was named after the Gradual.

And then there's the "Liber Usualis" - the "Useful Book". I just got my very own copy. New ones are outrageously expensive (over a Benjamin), but you can pick up a used one for much less. I scored a 'well used' copy circa 1958 for $40.

It contained a ton of prayer cards, including a whole series for First Masses of various priests. I was able to locate all of them - four or five are deceased, a couple retired, one or two still in active ministry, and one has left the priesthood. I posted their names by my computer and pray for them periodically.
