The testimony of ex-Mormons like Steve Benson and Inmans here on FR forum is quite compelling. Surely their testimony is on one side of your truth coin.

Nah, he's already making an attempt to marginalize the ex-mo's as well. So you see, our witness will be on the opposite side of his coin.

Some of them claim being some sort of special witness to you as being supposedly former Mormons. So someone who is an ex-member of any organization would never have an axe to grind or have reason to try to justify their actions by any means? Perhaps not but perhaps so. The LDS Church gains members from other denominations as well as others faiths all the time. This doesn't make them an expert on anything and you certainly won't hear them attacking their former Church.

See, the thing is, I could say the same for their purported mormon archaeologists who say the BoA is true because they translated the JS papyri. It's not like they would have anything to gain by lying for the church now would they? I mean, it couldn't possibly be that the mormons are lying about the dozens, if not hundreds of other egyptologists who have come out with a wildly different translation than the mormons. All of those other experts are the ones who are lying right?

Nah...couldn't be.

A rather famous ex-Mormon, Steve Benson, has often explained the powerful disillusionment that confronts Mormons who investgate the problems with the Mormon corner on truth. They run into the evidence of the fraudulent Mormon teachings concerning:

—the historicity of the Books of Mormon and Abraham;

—the “translation” of the fraudulent Kinderhook Plates;

—the Masonic origins of the Mormon temple ceremony;

—the rewriting and altering of Church history;

—the question of consistency within Mormon doctrines;

—the racist and sexist teachings of Mormon scripture; and

—the reversal and denial of official Mormon teachings

These things are all covered in the links I provided. They have been covered a thousand times over the years. They are nothing new. They are only issues to those who want them to be. For whatever reason that might be.

Another one showing true colors siding with Steve Benson why he even has articles over at the

Steven Benson, cartoonist for the liberal Arizona Republic newspaper, libels conservatives with a pencil rather than with the written word. Benson is one of the most odious propagandists of the far-left; make no mistake, he is a hater extraordinare. Of course, leftists always believe that their brand of hatred is justified and enlightened.

Take the cartoon at left that Benson published right after the Arizona shootings. It is slanderous in the extreme and expresses the left's unhinged hatred of Sarah Palin.

Yep defend the anti LDS kick the LDS to the curb!
