When the center does not hold, when the foundation is built on sand........place marker.
The foundation of Mormonism is made of ether...
Ya all sit around and fault find but none of you have a Kingdom build up onto the Lord Jesus Christ.
Many have contribute nothing but sour notes!

ACTS 3
19 ¶ Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
Matt 10
40 ¶ He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
41 He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophets reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous mans reward.
42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
resty, your ‘reply’ doesn’t answer the question at hand. Your verses are talking about Jesus - not smith. Again I ask you - why would MORMON authors, apostles and prophets LIE about the acts and sayings of smith and WRITE books containing those lies?
President Hinckley: Latter-day Saints do not believe in the traditional Christ. No, I don’t. The traditional Christ of whom they speak is not the Christ of whom I speak. LDS Church News, June 20, 1998,
***
Correct the ‘Traditional Jesus” is NOT the Jesus Christ of the Bible or the Book of Mormon!
So are you saying what? Are you saying you now believe Hinckley was lying? Trying to figure out what your statement means, as you appear to be saying that the traditional Jesus is not the Jesus of the BoM, which I agree with.
The Bible and /the Book of Mormon witness to the true Jesus Christ
The Jesus of the Tradition of Men who was decided upon in 325 AD is not the Jesus spoken in the Bible nor The Book of Mormon.
And you wonder why I say you are confused...
You contradict yourself...
So you are saying that the jesus in the BoM is a fake not to be believed jesus. I agree with that.
But resty, you tell us that same nasty old group of people desecrated the bible in 325 - are you now telling us that the bible is ok - that none of the plain and precious parts have been removed and is correctly translated?
You may not like the truth but you can not change it by changing or by turning words.
Plain truth the Tradition of Men version of Jesus was decided upon in 325 AD and is NOT the Jesus Christ that is SPOKEN in the Bible as well as in the Book of Mormon, which both the Bible and the Book of Mormon are testaments of the Only begotten Son Jesus Christ.
In this last statement it appears you are saying that the Jesus of the Bible is not the jesus of the BoM AND that the Jesus of the Bible and the jesus of the BoM are different than the traditional Jesus of the Bible.
I agree with you the Jesus of the Bible is NOT the jesus of the BoM.
