Robert L. Millet The Most Correct Book...(Morm/LDS Video)

The Most Correct Book: Joseph Smith's Appraisal of the Book of Mormon

Robert L. Millet; he who is built upon the rock will we receive this work with gladness.

Much has been said and demeaning about bro Millet

...separating the wheat from the chatter of the tears!

I could not leave without leaving these words of bro Millet

Understand the words such as precepts, the word “most correct’ and how it was used in the 1800's, things of God are only known by the power and spirit of God, the truthfulness and much much more...

Most importantly again he who is built upon the rock receive this work with gladness

The Book of Mormon was met for the children of today and the thing of most worth was preserved.

The Book of Mormon is not on trial it is the people and the members of today and how they treat and what they do with the Book of Mormon.

experts of the temporal world is not the final word...

These were Mormons who conducted the research, who were in various fields of expertize. Needless to say after their findings that nothing whatsoever evidences the Book of Mormon as true...they left. They traveled all over the world for this study...it was not done at a library table...they actually sought the sites mentioned in the BOM....nothing there...not a thing of the civilizations the Bom mentions nor the places...no artifacts whatsoever. And in case you don't know...there are always artifacts and various other proofs that cultures existed....always. The Mormon history is the only one who can not support it's history...because it simply isn't true...and again...your Leadership knows this.....haven't you ever wondered why they haven't excavated Mt. Moriah? Because they know nothings going to be found if they do!

I have prayed to the Lord Jesus Christ and it was by the power of the Holy Spirit that I knew the Book of Mormon was true.

All great writings throughout history have been supported by archalogical evidence of one form or another....most of all the BiBle...which is even used by historians, scientists, and others who aren't believers. That's because it has been the most documented, open and transparent book for any to investigate...and no other book has been studied for accurecy as it has...... They know it to be true simply from the historical proofs evidencing so. Not to mention the historical agreement that Christ did indeed live as is stated.

The Bom has nothing...not an inch of evidence...and there's not an inch of evidence what happened to Joseph Smith happened as he said...zip nothing.

Therefore you are believing in something that's fake and unfortunately tricked by what ever good feel you got along the way

You are certainly free to believe as you will as anyone can...I can believe the moon is made of cheese too...but the facts would disprove me..

Faith comes by hearing the word of God...just as it is written...and artifacts...historical writings and finds support Gods word. The BOM Has nothing at all to support it's writing..and in fact has been shown to be untrue for that.

Jesus came to voluntarily give up His life as a Sacrifice for sin, this is the only reason He became man.

Ah well no,,,Jesus never said that...

The LORD Jesus Christ said to Resty, “I came that you might have Life, and have Life more abundantly” John 10:10

This is silly banter and means nothing in the end.

This group is doing unto the Bible as the antis do unto the Book of Mormon.

The Bible vs. Archaeology, You Decide.

So many cling dearly to the temporal language of the world and have little regards for the Language of the Lord!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Looking back it does appear that you may have been quoting another FReeper...

However I believe you DID write this...

Resty: I agree with much of what you said, but there was never any phyiscal cross used during the times of the Apostles.
_________________________________________________

The Apostles were all alive and well during the time the LORD Jesus Christ hung on the “physical Cross” and shed His Blood on the Cross and died there to save us...

They wrote about the Cross in the New Testamewnt of the Christian Bible because they were there and SAW it with their own eyes...

Thats called EYE WITNESSES...

So....

Why did you say that ???

Most correct - 4000+ “corrections”, a story disproved by every aspect of science.

Seems you don’t understand the Bible and there was NEVER a Physical symbol during the times the apostles were on earth that came 300 years later during the reign of the Pagan Murder Constantine!

BTW The Lord no longers hangs upon the cross...

News break; the Lord has raisen hosanna hosanna hosanna in the highest

First of all it was the Pagan Murder Constantine around 325 AD who was the first to use the physical symbol of the Cross NEVER before that time.

- - - - - -
Resty, honey, that is LDS propaganda, not real History.

We have evidence of the Cross being used as a Christian symbol as early as 80 AD. Read John Stott’s the Cross of Christ for even more evidence that the Cross was central to Christian symbolism prior to Constantine.

Remember, I’m a historian.

The only way we can have “LIFE” is that Jesus paid our sin debt by dying on the cross, no atonement no Life for you or me. We would still be dead in our sins and would have no way to reconcile with the Father, since all our good works on our own are seen as filthy rags in God’s eyes.
