Has anyone heard anything about Rev. Msgr. Mark L. Bartchak, currently the Judicial Vicar of the Diocese of Erie?
I’ve never heard of him & I wasn’t aware Bishop Adamec was leaving. I hope this turns out to be a good thing for the diocese, considering the Bishop is a lib.
I have had the opportunity to interact with Msgr. Bartchak several times while I was a seminarian in Erie. From the times I have spoken with him, I would say that he is fairly quiet and reserved, and also hard-working. He was also one of the spiritual directors for the seminarians at St. Mark Seminary - some of the other seminarians there know him much better than I do.
