In this, the inaugural Free Republic prayer thread for Governor Sarah Palin, please join in lifting the Governor up in prayer, either of your own choosing or the following.....
"May you, O Lord, bless Sarah and keep her and make your face to shine upon her. May you lift up your countenance upon her and give her peace this day and forevermore. Clothe your servant with the armor of God, preserve her from all the fiery darts of the most wicked one and deliver her not up to the will of her enemies. Amen.”

A lot of different people look at Sarah from different perspectives. I see her as a leader. But I also see her as a mom of 5. She is close the same age as my mom. When I see hatefull comments about every thing from her faith to her physical appearance. I think of how I would fear if someone said those things about my precious mom and that would hurt any son.
she and her family have my prayers for protection from physical and emotional threat.
Lord Jesus Christ, Risen Son of the Almighty Living God, please send forth Your army of angels for the protection of Sarah Palin and her loved ones from all her enemies.
May the lips of her enemies be sealed,
may the hands of her enemies be stayed,
may the efforts of her enemies be spoiled,
may the strength of her enemies be drained,
may the sight of her enemies be dimmed,
may the ears of her enemies be stopped,
may the feet of her enemies stumble,
and may she always give You glory, thanks and praise, dear Lord, forever.
