YOPIO is usually finished YOPIOS and stands for “your own personal interpretation of Scripture” which is a pejorative for Protestants, i.e. non-members of this caucus.

Salvation,
thank you, thank you, and thank you. As so often happens when I read your informational posts, I’ve bookmarked, and saved m’self a pdf for reading. I love reading about our faith, and this is wonderful. Did I say thank you? Seriously.

I think it worthwhile to keep this thread a caucus, so that these dogmas can be discussed by the faithful without interference.
For example, do any of you know what this means?
350. Those sins which are already forgiven directly by the Church's Power of the Keys are a sufficient object of confession. (Sent. certa.) CIC 902.

Pardon me, Mr. K: are you a member of the Catholic Caucus?

This thread is a Catholic Caucus thread, for Catholics only. Best not to get involved in a discussion with someone who does not belong to the caucus.

Do not post on any Religion Forum thread labeled "Catholic Caucus."

re: Do not post on any Religion Forum thread labeled “Catholic Caucus.”
I am a Catholic, married only once, no annulments, a father, been married 9 years and we have 5 children (don't use birth control), we have our children baptized 2 weeks after birth, go to mass practically every day, only go to the Latin mass of all time, we home school our children, we go to confession weekly, we don't watch TV, we do the rosary everyday as a family.

Then you are welcome on “Catholic Caucus” threads - just be sure to not speak of the beliefs of non-members of the caucus, otherwise the thread must be opened so that they can speak for themselves.

Why don’t you post some of that information on your profile page. Then things like this won’t happen.
