Post of the week, in my book.
Can you imagine a surgeon and His team, in the heat of reattaching a severed limb, while bullets are flying around them. His tool is sharp and cuts both ways.. it's “doubled edged”...and in comes Tara wanting to replace this with a flower!
Now once the surgeon's work is done and the “Patient” is in recovery....why then Flowers are most appropriate. But not during the procedures...and certainly not on the battlefield.
Also,.... if you've ever watched a surgical procedure being done on the battlefield...you note there are moments when the surgeon or his assistants check to see the condition of the patient. Sometimes they have to yell to keep the patient alert.... All are focused... They know what to ask... they have done this before... a life is at stake.
