The LDS seem to worship Smith. But of course they will deny it and claim they are just Christians like the rest of us. But that claim is becoming more and more lame as more Mormon doctrine is revealed."
Mormons are to Christianity as RINOS are to Conservatism.
Of course we need look no further than Romney and Reid to see that.
I'm in! Jeff, I just prayed for your rescue.
Do you believe it is what Joseph Smith said it was? Do you believe the pictures mean what Joseph Smith said they mean?
Every scrap of paper or tin brought to Smith turned out to be an artifact beyond value from a biblical prophet !
I do wonder, though, if we're all wrong about reincarnation perhaps Smith is among us. ;)
Oh we've discussed this on several occasions, however your interpretations are severely 'challenged' regarding who won or lost.
Lurkers, My page on FR. . .
Chews up drive space as an vehicle of mormon proselytizing.
As for Jesus making it clear, he made it clear that Divorce is adultery, he said nothing about polygamy.
Lurkers will note - scriptural interpretation is poorly developed among some mormon apologists. In this instance, it is further compounded by a blinding obedience to a dead prophet.
Lurkers will note, within the context of divorce, Jesus also clarifies the context of adultery (woops, DU missed that one, didn't he). Here is what Jesus REALLY said -
Mat 19:9 KJV - And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except [it be] for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
Mar 10:11 KJV - And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.
Luk 16:18 KJV - Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from [her] husband committeth adultery.
Jesus stated only ONE condition for divorce - marital infidelity. In Jesus' eyes, divorce under any other condition was invalid an the two were still married. Thus if one or the other marries under this invalid divorce, it becomes adultery.
What DU apparently fails to recognize is that for the case of the man, now 'married' to TWO women (ie polygamy) is not sanctioned by Jesus but repudiated as adultery.
BTW, good 'law abiding' prophet smith broke the law when he began mormon polygamy and that violation of the law continued until wilson's revelation.
Spin, spin and spin Du. LOL
; )
lol
Lots of mormons waking-up and telling their stories..........especially HERE.
speaking of the devil (666 post)
There is absolutely nothing that makes your ‘witness’ any more valid than MHG’s or even mine DU. It washes out in the end.
Thank you for posting that. I forgot that it had been HTML’d for FR.

Oh..
Don’t let the door hit you on the way out. However, i will still pray for your salvation.
Sometimes it is better to look the problems of Mormonism straight in the face rather than turn and run. A faith that cannot withstand criticism is a faith that is not worth having. Most LDS I know would rather be content then know the truth.
I have no problems with the LDS as conservatives, I do have a problem with them claiming to be Christians while promoting blasphemy.
Our Heavenly Father, also called Elohim, stands in the exalted position above all beings.
However, Joseph Smith says that . . . he is an exalted man, and sits enthroned in yonder heavens! . . . .If you were to see him today, you would see him like a man in formlike yourselves in all the person, image, and very form as a man; for Adam was created in the very fashion, form, and image of God, and received instruction from, and walked, talked, and conversed with him, as one man talks and communes with another (Documentary History of the Church, p. 305).

Resty, are you denying that Joseph Smith took underage girls and other men's wives as his multiple wives? Are you really?
How fitting that your spin got post # 666.
That it has to be “regurgitated’ comes from the fact that morg apologist like you will never give up the scam regardless of the facts being against you.
So until you quit peddling the fraud we will have to keep bringing on the facts.
