The Church does not teach salvation by our own good works

I think everyone underdstands that the Roman church does not teach salvation by works only.

As I have been told many times, Rome teaches Faith and Works for salvation. Many will say "Faith and Grace", but after unpacking the meaning of that phrase it means Faith and "grace" prompted works for salvation. "We must cooperate with God" is another popular phrase.

Sorry, you have misphrased it -- Salvation is from Christ's sacrifice which redeemed us, that is Church teaching. We may say yes to God's plan which justifies us yet the salvation and the saving Grace is all God

The Church teaches clearly that salvation is from Christ's sacrifice alone (CCC 169).

If anyone tells you differently, they are incorrect, utterly.
