A few years back while getting ready for Mass and our water pipes broke and they had to turn the water off. Now all I will say is I needed to wash my hands to be ready to go out and couldn’t. Then I remembered we had a gallon of water in a jug in the kitchen closet, so I was able to freshen up. But since I received communion in the hand I had decided if I couldn’t freshen up I was not going to receive our Lord’s body by hand and would received Holy Communion on the tongue, even though everything worked out from that point on I started receiving Holy Communion on the tongue. After that I just started looking at receiving differently than before.
You need to try this. You will never receive the Lord in your hand again!!
