BTW, I have seen and know a few true Christian scholars who were critical of some of the accepted beliefs of mainstream Christianity who were blasted and ostracized by their own. So, to follow your train of thought delacoert, it really does seem that scholars who start out mainstream Christians have a difficult time staying mainstream Christian.
