I don’t know why, but I often watch this video of President Hinckley announcing the new Temple in Accra: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EtZMqdk1gA. I love watching the response of the Ghanans as they learn they will get a temple. I think President Hinckley had a little fun with the announcement as well.
This evening the bishop and maybe 10 ward members came caroling and delivering sweets! How nice.
