I'm with "O Holy Night!" I cry every time I hear it sung.
I would also add Ave Maria, because without the Incarnation we would have no Baby Jesus at Christmas time.
Do go to the site to listen to the videos of these songs being sung!

O come all ye Faithful, but in the Latin and sung by Bocelli, thanks.

Agreed. ‘O Holy Night’ sung by a good female singer is hard to beat.

I think the one that is the most fun to sing is “Angels We Have Heard On High”.

Religious “What Child is this” and acoustic versions of “Silent Night”. Secular “Silver Bells”, Bingo’s “White Christmas” and Karen Carpenter’s “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” made even more poignant because we now know how alone and depressed she felt when she sang it.

“Silent Night”, then “Adeste Fidelis”

I don't know if it falls into this category but my favorite is
"The Angels Cried" by Alan Jackson and Alison Krauss.

I do find it hard to believe that “Once in David’s Royal City” won out in popularity over all of those others except “O Holy Night.” I have trouble believing it won out over all but 2 on the honorable mention list.
I guess we just don’t sing it much in my part of the country.
I can’t recall ever having sung it.

It doesn’t matter as long as the girl in those hyudai commercials sings it.

O Holy Night. My absolute favorite because it’s got the entire message. “...till He appeared and the soul felt it’s worth...”. Shivers, every time.

Probably "Oh Come All Ye Faithful" for one particular reason. The Kansas City Repertory Theater does "A Christmas Carol" every year and there is a part in the second act where several of the cast begin to sing "Oh Come All Ye Faithful". And as they are doing so, the rest of the cast - and its' pretty big - come down the aisles bearing candles singing along with them. They all wind up on stage for the third chorus and it is, to me, the highlight of the play. There's a part of it about 2 minutes into this clip.
Link But really I like all the old carols - Fum, Fum, Fum; Bring the Torch; We Three Kings; God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen; Here We Come A Caroling; Coventry Carol; and all the rest.
