at the Catholic school I was forced to attend for a couple of years, I always won the spelling prizes. (cant tell it now, lol) First place was always a plastic statue of Mary with a rosary in her twist-off feet, , second, some saint, like Christopher, and third Jesus with the bleeding heart. I always got the Mary one. What subtle teaching to little kids.

This is just another example of the Vatican keeping control of it's members...beginning with the youth. Idolatry keeps it's members blind to the truth...starting at at infant stage on up it conditions them to these "pacifiers"...like security blankets. Did you ever see a kid's behavior when you attempt to take his pacifier or blanket? Thus they can and do "secure" their doctrines with these items.

...at the Catholic school I was forced to attend for a couple of years...

My sons attended a RC HS. My youngest is finishing this year. When looking at colleges his only criteria was "no grotto". When asked by his Mom why, he told her he was "sick and tired of the pagan goddess worship".

Both boys recognized the Maryolatry for what it is right from the get go.

You still have them? I’ll take them if you don’t want them.

You were so blessed to grow up in the Faith.

lolol. Wow. What a telling experience.

And that third place statue didn't make you want to rush right out and become "another Christ," eh?

Maybe that's why so many priests become "another Mary."

First prize.

Jesus doesn't even play second fiddle to Mary. It's third place for Him.

Kind of tells you what the Catholic church's priorities are, doesn't it?
