The problem with a discussion with Preterists is that they go off into the swamp of “can’t take the Bible literally”. The quick sand of “it’s only metaphor” will restrict any real discussion of what the Bible really is telling us.

Well, I can tell you that for the real hard-core Scripture deniers, the ones who have been given the truth repeatedly over the years and refuse to accept God's word as He wrote it and gave it to us, I have decided to take Jesus up on His commandment in Matthew to "shake the dust off your feet" and move on when dealing with those who hate truth and hate the word of God as He has written it.

There are a few who may be amenable to Scriptural truth; those who, along their journey, were told error and given wrong information and who listen to the truth and accept it, and for those I am willing to spend some time giving them what they may have never been told. After all, that is what Jesus wants us to do.

But for the others, I am done. Maybe they'll come to Christ during the Tribulation - I sincerely hope they do. But it's not expected of us nor are we commanded to spend years trying to convince those who want no part of the truth. The time comes to move on.
