Change Your Outlook Change Your Outcome

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them out of them all (Psalm 34:19). But, that's not all the Bible has to say about your afflictions. IICorinthians 4:17,18 says your afflictions will be light and for a moment, and work for you while you look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. So not only will God deliver you, but while you are going through your affliction it can be light, and for a moment and work for you. But only if you look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen.

Now to do that you are going to have to see things as God sees them. Well, how do you do that. The Bible says you have the mind of Christ (1Corinthians 2:16). But you have to let that mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:5). It's not the problems that defeat you it's your outlook that defeats you, how you see things. It's not the problem because God says we are more than conquerors in all things through him that loved us (Romans 8:37). It would have been good if God said we were conquerors, but He said more than conquerors. A conqueror is someone who is not defeated, someone that wins.

The only thing that can defeat you is your outlook. Because your outlook determines your words and actions. Too many people have a negative outlook and when you have a negative outlook you are defeated even before the battle. Your words and actions determine your outcome. So your outcome starts with your outlook. So go to the word of God to get the right outlook and let your outlook determine your words and actions, and let your words and actions produce your outcomes in accordance with the word.

In the US we have too many people with too much self esteem. No accomplishment, but plenty of self esteem.

The same time none of them read or practice Romans 12:3
Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.
Never more obvious than in our president.
