John Lennon blasphemed our Lord in the song “the ballad of John and Yoko” also in the song “Imagine” he said “imagine there is no heaven.” John Lennon was an atheist. IMO, the worst thing he did was that he let Yoko take over his life. Julian (his son) said that Yoko took everything from the Lennon family. She even threw Julian and his mother out of their house in England.

I never understood why people got so hot because Lennon said, “imagine.” Just imagine. It isn’t blasphemous, it isn’t irreverent, it’s just a question - what if? Can’t people, even so-called religious people, imagine a concept? Didn’t anyone go to college? Senior year of high school?
I’m sorry he’s dead and I don’t care if he was left, right, or center. And to be worried about some singer/songwriter’s political and religious beliefs some 30 years after the fact is just a waste of time. Go turn on some music and relax.
