Christmas celebration begins the evening of December 24. The current season is Advent.

A pleasant December to you, wherever you are. I’m freezing my fingers in sunny North Carolina, USA.

For Catholics Christmas begins on Christmas Day and continues until the Epiphany when the Wise Men came to adore the Child Jesus.

Hopefully Catholics all leave their trees up until then. (My kids always wondered why we were the only ones in the neighborhood with our tree still up!)

hmmm.. that site seems to border on new age and comes close to heretical reasons, and not the biblical reasons for the incarnation of the Creator of the Universe.

God became man in order to redeem His people from sin. We are fallen and can not in any way please God because of our sin. Jesus, God in the flesh, came to be our perfect sacrifice so that those who believe in Him, who cry out to Him, wanting to come to God, knowing we cannot because of our sin, can approach God through Him. He came to be our Redeemer and perfect mediator in order to give us His righteousness so that we can be called children of God.

Nothing in scripture talks about a “Christ-Spirit but the article does. Actually, there is quite a bit of error, not just biblicaly error, but historical error in the article.
