It's correct if you're a Nestorian

What's w/Catholics and their labels?

She didn't give birth to God but to the man, JESUS. You are using your own understanding - a human understanding and applying it to the Supernatural. It doesn't work that way. How can you give birth to What already existed. THE WORD became flesh. IT already was. It's Supernatural. Did not the man Jesus grow in stature? Do you think God needed to grow?

God's Word is Holy Spirit inspired is spiritually discerned and many discount that, also. It is not just a book, it is not just words on a page - it is alive and powerful and must be heard AND obeyed.

Psalm 34:9 "For the Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; IT judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

So much for your human understanding and your velco but it fits with the tradition that nullifies God's Word.

"Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down.." Mark 7:13

“She didn’t give birth to God but to the man, JESUS”

What is your understanding of the NATURE of Christ on His earthly sojourn?

“She didn’t give birth to God but to the man, JESUS.”

Since you appear not to understand history, Nestor made the same foolish argument you did. The ENTIRE Church condemned that as heresy long before you were born. Invest in education, you might learn something.

Sorry, but you're the one who insists on a merely human understanding -- that's the appeal of the Nestorian heresy: it's easier to understand than the Incarnation. All the Christological heresies are easier -- that's why they keep arising.

You're still talking about a Jesus in two separable parts; this is not the Christian belief. "The Word became flesh" -- not the Word sort of hovered around the flesh.
