NIV Bible error - Lucifer AND Jesus are ONE in the NIV. See Isaiah 14:12.
Add in the fact that the Hebrew/Greek is from 2000 or so years ago.

I am not blind in respect to Biblical exegesis and Bible theology as these FR call me; even as the Lord Jesus Christ was called by the scholar Pharisees's to have a demon; these FR scholars call me blind.
On the contrary, I am saved by the blood of Jesus Christ and my eternal salvation has been accomplished by the cross of Christ dying for my sins; which are COMPLETELY FORGIVEN. Upon my last day on earth (death), I will be directly transferred into the presence of Christ. My salvation is assured by the Holy Spirit in Romans. My relationship with God is In Christ; that is: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit are in my soul as is clearly explained in Romans through Philemon.
THEY call me blind; actually, Christ Jesus calls their kind blind, for their kind have unfortunately persecuted Christ Jesus (Acts 9) and continue to persecute the true saint and believers In Christ.
I know a few self-made “Biblical Scholars.” I’ve learned the hard way you can’t win with individuals who think they are as smart as God. Best thing to do is pray for them.

Thanks, I appreciate that. Religion threads should be controversial, not just blindly following what some internet scholar says. That’s how cults get started. Everything should be tested.

Should Christ himself come back and reveal himself, and declare the Catholic Church he founded on earth is his one true church, they would be the first to nail him to the cross again in fury. Pray they let the hatred for Christ and his Church go and they find Christ’s love before it is too late. I will never try and turn a protestant away from Christ or his way of believing even if I think it is lacking in the fullness intended by Christ. I will explain my beliefs and then leave it up to that person.
From what I have seen on your thread here and your comment on thirty years experience I fall back on the old expression: “There are people here with thirty years experience, and there are people with one year thirty times.”

Wow, you are right, a church whose entire mission is to divide instead of bring people to Christ. It seems their entire mission is to put down all other denominations.
The NIV is an evangelical Protestant product with many inaccuracies, and some instances of plain old eisegetical "make the Bible mean what I want". Don't blame us Catholics for it; we had nothing to do with it.
Shut up! We've been doing Biblical exegesis for 2000 years.
