NIV Bible error - Lucifer AND Jesus are ONE in the NIV. See Isaiah 14:12.
Thank you for entertaining me with this comedy. A good laugh is a good thing. I’m off to bed... *chuckle*
I’ll pray for you.
Sure, it’s really difficult to think that an all wise God would set absolute truth on paper so that man wouldn’t be able to corrupt it with his heresy and error. Man just handle not playing God can he? Imagine the manufacturer of a product sending instructions out on how to put something together and saying, “just read these instructions, but go ahead and make your own if it makes you feel better.”
Hail the sane man!
They’re off and running now my friend....
Mark 13:31
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
Luke 21:33
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
-Jesus Christ
You do realize God used men to write the books that make up the Holy Scriptures? Please tell me you realize that.
If kool-aid drinking is believing God and His Word, and it does what it has done for me for thirty years now — I’ll keep on drinking it. It beats the poison you been drinking.
My salvation is 100% assured as Christ said that NONE whom the Father gave Him will He lose. I am eternally saved to arrive directly into heaven upon my death (no puns now). My standing with God Almighty is "son of God" Romans 8:15. I have salvation which cannot be taken out the Father's hand. My status is In Christ - which means that the Godhead, Father, Son, Holy Spirit, all are IN my soul and I in them: this is a Biblical truth few on this page understand.
I do believe, son, that he is praying for your understanding, not your salvation.
When I say kool-aid drinking, I mean that the web site reads as if only you and the members of this Rocky Creek Baptist Church are the only Christians on this planet and also the only ones who are going to Heaven.
Oh, and by the way, the “I know you are but what am I” routine is so, well, tweenish.
Yes I do, and I also realize it was “God-breathed” into them. Holy men of God “moved by the Spirit of God.” What’s more, God made it very simple and easy to understand. He also gave grave warning to those who would add or take away from His Word. A ten year old child can hear it, understand it, and be saved instantly. Matter of fact, exactly what happened to me. You’re not speaking to a novice here! I’ve read the Word of God more enough times to lose track in counting and diligently studied it. Yes. Sola Scriptura, and I stake my eternal soul on His Word and what Jesus Christ did for me on the cross. Period — settled!
Well, obviously you cannot read then; hence, and explanation in your difficulty with interpreting Scripture. If you truly read the website you would discover all who truly accept the Biblical Jesus into their hearts are born-again and saved. There have been millions throughout history who have done that and millions today living in the here and now who are saved, yet not members of Rocky Creek Baptist Church. Your asertion to such a thing is ridiculous.

Here is something that I can agree with you on so I will leave it there. Goodnight!
Hharrumph’ !
doing Biblical exegesis is not the same as translating greek into english but you knew this.
**discover all who truly accept the Biblical Jesus into their hearts are born-again and saved**
That includes me, then!
1 John 2:
9 Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister[b] is still in the darkness. 10 Anyone who loves their brother and sister[c] lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble. 11 But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them.

I do not hate any brother or sister in Christ. I do hate false doctrine and teaching however. To many people jump to empty conclusions when they start accusing someone of hate. Those are they who really do not understand the biblical definition of love. Most define that love from human terms instead of biblical terms. Real love will expose error. Real love will warn someone whose headed for a bridge thats out up the road. The Bible says that God Himself hates sin! If He hates it, why shouldn’t I, especially if I am being conformed into His image and likeness as His Word claims.
Oh, so you are saving humanity with your superior knowledge. I got it. Got ego?
Who Is Saved?
Those who truly believe Jesus Christ was God in the flesh.
Those who believe He died for their sins and rose from
from the dead.
Those who ask Him into their lives and ask for His
forgiveness.
Those who base their salvation by grace alone via faith
in His completed work on the cross.
Salvation is one thing, living in error is another!
People can be saved and be living in error!
Spiritual poison stunts peoples growth!
Nope, just challenging assumptions of those who claim final authority.
