Keep in mind the Mormon Church did not allow black membership until the 1960s.
When the church was organized in Fayette New York, there were "people of color" in attendance and they were some of the first members. I believe you are referring to giving the priesthood to these people of color which happened in 1978. Either way, you are way off.
