I took Catholic training with my mom, who sang in the choir, when I was 12 at Immaculate Conception in Hialeah FL. The text was
Father Smith Instructs Jackson. I´m an OT believer these days, but it was a fondly remembered time in my life and left me with a profound respect for Catholicism and Christianity.

'Different from' works in English Engish too. It's great to see the language evolve and lovely that you lot have preserved things like 'gotten' and 'fall' which were standard English in the 16th century.

That’s why we will have to agree to disagree. Christ decided to build his church on mere sinful human beings, starting with St. Peter and followed by his successors. Why? I don’t know, ask Him.

In conclusion, there is no other kind of human being available to populate the church, the visible Body of Christ on earth. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Even the mortal mother of the Son of God inherited the curse of Adam’s fall, and could be redeemed by none other than faith in the atoning death of Jesus, and His resurrection, the only sure hope for all we sinners.
