I checked my copy of Rashi's commentary on this weeks parashah to clarify a couple of questions I had and discovered the following:

1)The "man" who told Joseph where his brothers were was the angel Gavri'el.
2)Joseph was sold several times before arriving in Egypt, as is alluded to in the word passim in ketonet passim: Potifar, socharim, Yishma`'elim, Midyanim.
