Christ says it is not necessary to ACT on the impulse for it to be sin. Just the thought or the attraction is the sin

Mat 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

The root of sin is in our heart.. God looks at and judges the heart.
