Now THERE's an idea!

Have you heard of Sigrid Undset? She wrote a biography of Catherine of Siena but also historical novels about medieval Scandanavia. I am reading the biography but I have one of her novels as well. I'm essited.

Anoreth was working on Old Norse. Her godmother back in Texas is of Norwegian descent, and was a big fan of the “Kristin Lavransdottir” novels. I haven’t read them, myself, but maybe I should give them another try. It’s been (ulp) over 20 years!
