Somehow TN whenever you tell a story it is always embellished.

doing baptism for the dead is a vicarious gift just like when the Lord Jesus Christ died for all of us it was a vicarious gift to accept the covenant or move on.

If one does not act on their gift it lies dormant unless someone on the other side chooses to receives it.

(called exercising free agency)
