America needs to get back to its Christian roots.
How far back into those roots should we go?
Should we take those roots back to the
inquisition?
Or back to the holy wars?
I know, I know... we go back to burning people at the stake.
Or maybe that's not modern enough ... I know we can go back into those roots...back to the good ole days of the Ku Klux Klan
But if it's those pesky Mormons who we need to teach a lesson to... we could take America back to these "christian" roots.
Wait... I know... here's the "christianity" we should move toward.
Ya know, I think I'm going to call a pass on going back to your "christian" roots. But thanks for asking.

Careful now, Stourme, you wouldn't want to contradict what Glenn Beck is teaching on FOX. That um 'apostasy' which was so complete and only ended in 1830's must have had a hole in it, since Glenn is teaching about the Black Robe Brigade of CHRISTIANS who because of their love of God and devotion to His principles founded this nation on godly principles ... before the advent of your peepstone divination sexual predator of married women.
Do ya think Glenn needs some time out, to become better indoctrinated acquainted with the peculiarities of your founders belief in total apostasy?

used to donate money to Free Republic. It was only $50 here and there, as we could afford it, but we gave the money freely.
Then, the LDS bashing became 'en vogue' and Jim not only supported it, he joined in.
So, we have stopped donating money, and use this site primarily as a news source. Perhaps other's may chose to do the same.
Why would anyone donate money to a site that opts to attack their church? This has nothing to do with politics, and everything to do with stoking a precious few egos.

It is interesting that the same people who criticise those who give a selective presentation of the facts in one instance will use a selection presentation for their own purposes in another.
