I think I add a dash of Worcestershire to my pumpkin seeds before putting them in the overn.
You can use olive oil too if allergic to butter.
Thanks for posting! If people want a real laugh, go over to the Guardian website and read the article about pumpkin pie and then the comments from the rabid anti-American Brits basically comparing pumpkin pie to racism, war-mongering and corporate criminality. It’s in the lifestyle section.
One of the funniest I’ve read in a while.
¨It´s almost time.¨
¨One more day till Halloween, Silver Shamrock.¨
We tried something as a change of pace a few years back and it has become such a fun tradition that my kids could care less about trick or treating anymore.
My husband and I hide candy at different “stations” around the yard and house. At each station, we have clues (riddles) that they have to solve in order to find the next station - we do anywhere from 15 to 20 different stations. They go out at night with their flashlights to try and find everything. We make it pretty hard to guess the answer though.
We live in a semi-rural area and we always felt like we were crashing a nearby subdivision to trick or treat. Plus fewer and fewer churches are doing festivals around here anymore.
