He(Longinus) had the famous " spear of destiny" which Hitler was fascinated by through out his life. When he obtained the relic from a museum, he invaded Poland.

It's also amazing that God was preparing the Polish people thru the st Faustina devotion Divine Mercy spiritual revival just when many were to be slaughted by the Nazis. Then that a young polish man would become a priest to eventually be the Pope.

It's almost like before the true blessing of Christ we had the slaughter of the Innocents by Herod. The Holy Family escapes. Compared to the Nazi slaughter of poles after during great blessings(St Faustina and pope john Paul) from God. The future pope escapes. With the end result having a The First Polish Pope bless this Divine Mercy devotion after Easter vigil. Maybe I am getting a head of myself but just amazing when you see it this way. The enemy must have seen the profound significance with St Faustina that he inspired Hitler to invaded Poland. Besides other things!
