Many are called, but few are chosen, to enter into Heaven

Without a doubt, I have been called before the foundation of the world by God the Father. And upon the moment (even section) of my salvation, the GodHead, Father, Son, Holy Ghost dwell inside my soul. And that is Biblical proven by Scripture in the Apostle Paul for the Gentile's 13 Scripture letters to the Church, the Body of Christ, made up of believers In Christ where Christ Jesus is the HEAD of the Body of Christ, not a building made with hands. And that is Biblical proven by Scripture in the Apostle Paul in his 13 Scripture letters to the Church of grace believers.

I know my salvation is assured and I know from Scripture that I will be carried by the angels to Heaven upon my death; and that is Biblical proven by Scripture in the Apostle Paul in his 13 Scripture letters to the Church of grace believers.

Not to be too picky, but there are other scriptures, also. Don’t dwell on just Paul’s writings, but the entirety of scripture.

Many are called, but few are chosen,

God calls everyone to salvation but that doesn't mean His standards are low. He calls and equips, furnishing all that we need to be in right standing with Him. But those who don't put on that robe of righteousness by faith will be eternally separated from Him, regardless of whether they were in church among the true believers or not.

LOL. You sound very confident. However:

Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

Romans 10:9

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

**God calls everyone to salvation but that doesn’t mean His standards are low. He calls and equips, furnishing all that we need to be in right standing with Him**

And God waits and waits and waits and waits for people to come to Him and ask forgiveness, whether it is through the Sacrament of Penance or just a prayer as one is dying.

I like the way a Catholic priest put it. When people go to hell, it is because they have jumped over every barrier a loving God erected between them and that destination.

And if that person holds a life=long grudge and doesn’t love his neighbor?

I doubt that God will save him....at least that person might spend a time in Purgatory in reparatation for the harm he did to his neighbor as well as himself.

God waits for us to enter the narrow gate.

Yes, there are other Scriptures, and God's grace has been available to Old Testament Saints as well as New Testament Saints.

I use the Apostle Paul's writing in regards to grace, for Paul as made a minister to the Gentiles for the grace of God, just as the Apostle Peter was made a minister to the circumcision.

Galatians 2:7ff ...when they saw the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter: For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me [Paul] toward the Gentiles: And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars [but were not pillars], perceived the grace that was given unto me [Paul], they gave to me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.

You see, if you read Paul's writing, then we learn whom was given the grace of God for the Gentiles, of whom we all are today, that is, we who are not Jewish by birth.

Paul was a minister of the Grace of God to the Gentiles

Peter was a minister of the gospel to the circumcision, i.e., Jewish believers; not Gentiles; except one Gentile in Acts 10, Cornelius.

The Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, John; are entirely to the Jewish people, for God's promise was given to the Jews, not the Gentiles.

Matthew 10:6 [Jesus said:] But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Matthew 15:24 But he [Jesus] answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost [the house of Israel].

John 10:3 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice [Christ spoke first of the Jews in their hearing, they would assume that Christ spoke of them, not us 2,000 years later]

Matthew 7:21 is essentially demonstrating that there will be professing “so called” Christians, whom will be rejected by God at the BEMA seat of Christ, and whom have deceived themselves into thinking that they have salvation by means of their own righteousness via works of the law. But they will be cast into eternal Hell and later Lake of Fire because their works of the law do not save, works of the law are not counted as righteousness. Salvation is only imputed by God’s grace as written by the Apostle Paul.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.

All scripture is for all of God’s people.

St. Matthew 6: “Be not so public in proclaiming your faith as the hypocrites do to get attention...Be so humble as to pray in thy secret.”

Faithful is He that calleth you (to salvation) for He will also do it. Many are called but few are chosen ... because so few will let Him do it.

I'm a Protestant, but I couldn't agree more with that Priest.

You may have wisdom shown by God to you as an individual. But for real when you the inner man spirit walks past the Pearly Gates of Heaven. And you can turn around to see that you are definitely past 5 to 15 yards into Heaven that will be when you know without a doubt. Also that all temptation will stop because the tempter cannot tempt you anymore. But in the mean time we will be tempted from the enemy. Which means He can turn us away otherwise why can he still tempt. Thats for a general statement for all. God can specifically show you individually =yes. .

At gun point would you renounce Christ. It's easy to say no without having the gun pointed at you. Nobody really knows unless it really happens. Talk is cheap. I personally ask God to give me boldness to the end. The early christians were tortured and killed for the faith. We in USA are very soft christians. I believe some of us can and will be martyrs in the future. Some will betray too. It will be sad but true. We should pray always.

Many are called, but few are chosen, to enter into Heaven.

That's not what the parable in Matthew 22 says. It isn't speaking about entering heaven. It is speaking about entering the kingdom of heaven. That term has a very specific meaning in scripture. The kingdom of heaven spoken of by Jesus, understood by 1st century Jews referred to the kingdom that will come when God's will is done on EARTH as it is in heaven.

2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

This is the context of 2 Timothy 3:16; Paul said:

2 Timothy 3:14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned [FROM PAUL] and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou has learned them [FROM PAUL]; And the from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures [FOR THE JEWISH PEOPLE], which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus [NOT CATHOLIC DOCTRINE].

...then we have Paul writing...

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in rightheousness; [PAUL is writing this about scripture for doctrine in grace, reproof against continuing to live by works of the law [which Caltholics still do]:

2 Timothy 3:176 That the man of God may be perfect [this was only talked about by PAUL], thr0oughly furnished unto all good works. And God is the one who does good works in us; they are not works of the law, which result in sin.
