Fr. Meyer is now a United Church of Christ minister and is the Director of the Arizona Center for Theological Studies, which he founded. And this is precisely what other religious, who disagree with Catholic Church teaching, should do as well ... leave.

All those homosexual priests should have been kicked out, too....and prosecuted. They were criminals...pure and simple.

Bp Olmstread also excommunicted that nun on the Catholic Hospital ethics committee who ok'd the abortion a couple of months ago. He seems top realize that sometimes the only adequate method of communication is excommunication.
Good for him.
