Please pardon my intrusion because I’m not Catholic, but I have to say “thank you!” It’s been a long time since I learned a new word in use in the English language. For that, you have my eternal gratitude.

I suppose the older of a dog you get, the more important it is that you learn new tricks when you can.

I don’t post to your threads. Just study.

Our Father just came home to the coast (3 months on respite) and it was “us” begging for Holy Eucharist. We were hungrey.

Our praying the Rosary and faith St. Kolbe/St. Damion mentors held us as “lights” in our homebound and community.

Father came spoke in Latin KV recieved the Bread of Life as did I and man Life Lite Spirit Understanding and Perserverence carry on.

And the weather on the coast plus KV invited to some community (not shunned) events was awesome.

Amen, Amen.

“A new word for me for transubstantiation.”

Not really. The word means a “change in essence”. “Ousia” does not mean “being” at all. The best English can do with the word is “essence”. Thus, metaousiosis does NOT mean transubstantiation. It does not express the same theological concept.
