It was like watching the organizing of the One World Religion.

It was like watching the organizing of the One World Religion.

At a meeting today of virtually every organized religious organization in America, and the media event including questions by the media afterwards, it was obvious to this writer that the persons who represented each of the religions have abdicated many of the beliefs of each of their respective faiths.

From Muslims, Jews, Catholics, Evangelicals, Episcopalians, to Protestants and Baptists. All called each other brothers and sisters. In an obvious joint effort to show how inclusive all religions are to other religions each speaker, from each organization, spoke about the need to recognize each others religion as a viable alternative and to be respectful of all religions and their respective rights to join in the overall religious community in America. A statement was even made that to visit the other religious services was a good thing to be able to see for ones self what “nice” people there were in the other religious services.

The consensus among the speakers was that Muslims were a peaceful people and their right to take their place among the other religions in America needed to be respected. To call Islam any thing other then a peaceful, respectable religion was bigoted.

If there is not an outcry from the leadership of one Christian denomination in this nation I can honestly say that today I can find no organized religion that a true follower of Jesus can call home. For virtually every organized religion in America to send a representative to that meeting to welcome Islam as a legitimate form of religion is indicative of the demise of all organized religions who can call themselves the Church of Jesus.

I was dumbfounded! I wasn’t sure I would live to see the advent of the end times but I now believe we are very close.

Catholicism, too, is advance, not retreating.

>>Where exactly was this meeting held?<<

In DC. The Press Conference was carried by CSPAN. They have a small blurb on their web site.

You can’t beat a worldview with a navel view. Branches of the Christian family that focus obsessively on “the heart” are unmanned and disarmed when confronting ideologies that address ALL of life, not just “religious” life.

Catholicism is a Christian world-view (kat’ holos) with a few superfluous bells and whistles that keep me from “swimming the Tiber.”

Reformed (Calvinist) Christianity also takes the whole world seriously.

One of the stated purposes was to show the Muslim world that a majority of America isn’t bigoted against Muslims.

And I'm sure the Muslims are laughing at the naivete of Americans to fall for that line. World domination is their goal and they cannot be trusted. Showing them that America accepts them with open arms means NOTHING and they will not be deterred from their plots. Case in point was the two American servicemen murdered by an Islamic terrorist disguised as Iraqi military only yesterday! These brave men were there for a peaceful purpose and AFTER the war was declared over by our ignorant President.
