Every mormon, including Glenn Beck who is "worthy" enough to take part in mormon temple rituals (required to reach "exaltation") takes this oath:
You and each of you covenant and promise before God, angels, and these witnesses at this altar, that you do accept the Law of Consecration as contained in the Doctrine and Covenants, in that you do consecrate yourselves, your time, talents, and everything with which the Lord has blessed you, or with which he may bless you, to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for the building up of the Kingdom of God on the earth and for the establishment of Zion
I personally, having lived in a mormon-controlled area, don't see a whole lot of difference between what is happening with the Obama administration and what may happen were the mormons to gain control of the country. There would just be a change in the faces of the masters.

I agree it’s probably true with a few counties, but the same is true in some areas being dominantly Catholic, dominantly Episcopalian, etc. The whole country is far-fetched. I guarantee that most of us wouldn’t let that happen. But the Mormon Church is not a politically-protected or politically correct class, they fight on two fronts with their beliefs. Against liberalism because they are not perfect or in tune with liberal values, and they also are not in line with conservative values as well, so given that much, they are unlikely to have any more power than that. I understand your situation stinks, but who would be willing to empower them so much? I don’t see anyone who would.
