True, enough, but what if you and I are arguing about Microsoft v/s Apple and then a Linux guy comes to support OS X and I reply to him, copying a number of Microsoft fans (assuming I'm one of them) and say "Why do Linux guys jump on board only at this time? Perhaps it's their intent"

It's obvious that I have directed the post to the Linux fan and ascribed an intent to him. That would be making it personal, I think.
